Bike & Walk Week 2025

May 30-June 6

-Friday, May 30th: First Critical Mass Bike Ride of the Year [6pm]

Meet in the Uptown Parklet for a 4-6 mile community bike ride. This ride is intended to be slow roll, that is friendly for advanced and beginner riders. Active Transportation hosts these rides the last Friday of every month May-October. We’ll start at the shop, make our way to the Art Preserve, and end back at the shop.

-Saturday, May 31st: Bike Expo [9-noon]

We'll be showcasing unique, antique, and vintage bicycles from our own collection as well as from the Sheboygan County Museum in the Uptown Parklet. Shoreline Metro will be present to give Bicycle Rack demos and Books on Bikes Sheboygan will be there, too! We've got a few other items in the works for this day - stay tuned!

Do you have a cool bike or two (or three, four, five…) that you’d like to show off? Bring it to the Bike Expo! No registration needed. Just bring it on down and show ‘em off.

-Sunday, June 1st: FREE Concert from Deadelijk [Noon]

Deadelijk [pronounced dead-alike], a Milwaukee-Based Grateful Dead Tribute Band, is performing at our shop for free on Sunday, June 1st at noon. Bike, walk, or roll on down to the shop for a darn good show.

-Monday, June 2nd - Friday, June 6th: Energy Stations [6-9am]

Start your morning with us Monday-Friday! We'll have our Lil Yellow Trailer parked outside and stocked with free coffee and snacks. Swing by for some treats, good conversation, and community.

Thursday, June 5th: Bike-in Movie Night [6pm] - THE GOONIES!

Bring a chair and blanket and head to the shop for an outdoor movie night [we’ll be inside it the weather is bad]. Thank you to the Mead Public Library for their partnership in bringing this film to the shop.
